    What are the most used Freak inserts?

    Basicly to lazy to buy whole set so what are the most used inserts?

      well for me the MOST used is .689
      then
      either .687 or .691 depending on paint size
      its usually the .687 after .689

      i think the very tight and very big bores are just a waste

          I read over on PBN about how the pro's and bob long's ironmen (Shh shhh shh, i know it's PBN but i tested this so leave me alone ), have moved over to using extra big inserts. They said that smart parts now recommends finding the first insert that the ball will roll through with minimum resistance, then go up TWO SIZES!. Anyhow, i didn't do that, but I was using some bigball in my mag that would have been somewhere between .689 and .691 with my normal paint sizing technique, but i tossed in the .693 insert for the hell of it and lemme tell you I was impressed. Let's just say I didn't make any insert swaps for the rest of the night after that.

          Anyhow, i'd always use bigger barrels with open bolt guns than closed bolt. I get more barrel breaks in my cocker because I have to keep the bore pretty tight to prevent rollers, and every time i see a ball explode out the end of a barrel I curse PTP and wish I had my micro Emag back so I can use a bigger insert

          Anyhow, for me .691 with normal sized paint, down a click to .689 if the paints smaller, and older paint or when i'm using anything but my cocker I'll experiment with a size bigger.

                  If you went up two sizes wouldn't use see a loss in accuracy?

                  Anyways I use the .689 insert the most, with the .687 and .691 coming in second. Those are the only inserts you really need most of 'em don't get any use at all.

                              actually out of the three I listed I use the red (687 I belive) more than any.
