I can't think of a better "Starter" marker...

I think I am going to try one of these Sceptre barrels systems. Tuna and Mel swear they are the shiznitz so thats good enough for me. I asked Tuna to get me one on the way today. In shinney black of course...12 inch... I still have the Freak that I will likely keep for the ULE RT Pro I currently have set up as a No Rise RT Pro with center feed Freak back. I can just pick me up a Cocker Freak back for that setup and keep going!

Whats a Dye tit? If thats something on a Dye chick then I may want one...or two!

While this should be true, I've found that production tolerances for certain manufacturers *cough* J&J *cough* are NOT as good as others.

DYE and the Freak are well established brands with a proven track records and lots of loyalists. Evil is the new kid on the block that still needs time.

Each kit has pro and cons:
DYE are fixed bore barrels and cost $$$ for a matching set.
Freak have inserts which are a little more delicate, a wider range of bores (8), and only require a new back to switch markers
Evil and CP have a set of fixed control bores (5) which some prefer, but are not as versatile with different markers.

Oh great, another red X-Mag out there! J/K I also ordered mine in red, although I am thinking of changing that to a red/black fade. I already have a freak kit for all of my guns that I currently own, but I'm thinking of getting a dye titanium from P&P that's annoed red. Now I'm not rich, I'm just saving a lot of money while I'm deployed, no if only I didn't have to pay $730/month for rent while I was gone.

I do somewhat agree with a few of the others on what should be a starter gun and what shouldn't.

i know it sounds wierd to be new to pb and have a xmag but i ahve been playing 4 months and when i started team rave took me under there wing and showed me everything i know so far and they order 6 xmags 13 months ago and let me get in on one of them....
