Ok I need a link to a thread where it explains how one gun cannot shoot farther than another with the same velocity and stuff. I have people over on a local forum discussing what guns shoot farther and what not. I want to correct their corrupt little minds.

Lol I once bought an elf operated machine for the reason thinking that it actually would shoot farther

well it kinda isn't true..the flatline barrel is a prime example of this

The Flatline is a bit of a special case, and one we can easily dance around by assuming we're dealing with the same model of barrel on each gun. It's not a necessary assumption, but it makes things a little easier.
