several things: the shocker you see is a model. The real one (it does work) looks nothing like that from what sp tells me, which makes sense, becuz if you look closely you realize there is no place to remove the bolt, the back plate thing is a circle with the crosshairs. That will be changed, most likely to the way the old shocker was. 2: the shocker is in no way similar to a mag. Period. thats like spyder/timmy. and brak:
there was no complaining, i simply stated that my information may be wrong as smart parts customer service doesnt exactly agree with themselves.
    4) the bugs of it are being worked out now. What gun has been released with bugs? what sp gun has been released with bugs? What makes you think the x-mag will have any less bugs than a shocker?
    5) its gonna be pimp.

      ?

When reading this thread all I can think of is, Who cares? When it comes out SP will post in every magazine, so there will be no doubt. It looks better but still ugly, maybe it will look better in person.
      GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

all i said is that to me it looks similar. i didnt say it works similar, acts similar, has similar parts, is made by a similar company, uses similar laws of physics, just that it looks similar. jeez.

Also, they have the light blue proto...
Anyway, the shocker doesn't look like a tube. It resembles the xmag bodies with the sides cut up a little bit.

I'm just saying it looks like the mag in more than one way. I'm not saying it IS a ripoff of a mag. I'm just saying they took some good design cues...
I didnt know someone got a patent on BLUE!! SWEET!! i got dibs on pewter to black fade!!

DUDE, i'm just saying it's a big coincidence that BOTH the proto's for the xmag and shocker are BLUE. GET THAT? I'm not saying AGD patented it.

                4) What SSP gun has been released with bugs? Are you joking or what? Try BOTH of their guns, and one of them still has a huge bug that is being worked out (FSDO, Impulse).

People I know have been told by smart part reps that the shocker has massive shootdown above 11 bps, I doubt it is coming out this weekend.

First shot drop off was cured with the advent of the solinoid isolation mods (VDFF, Tape worm, Eclipse Iso mod, ect)

Actually, i DO think the XMag will have less bugs than the shocker, 'cause it's based on the EMag. The EMag's proven and reliable and the XMag is pretty much the same. This Shocker is brand new (no one outside SP has even seen a working model) so I just dont think that's a valid point...
