It sucks that they screwed Transformers up. I was flipping through the channels the other day and was surprised to see Transformers on. Then I noticed they turned it into some horible Pokemon clone

That's what happens when the Japanese market picks up the show after the American market let it go. Then after years of evolving and many different incarnations of the show, it ends up back here in America that is totally different than the original idea (ex. Beast Wars & Beast Machines). Anyways, the last two series but in particular Transformers: Robots in Disguise are actually from Japan imported over here.Originally posted by AcemanPB

The original Megatron was a pistol with a stock and scope. StarScream was a jet, along with two others. Throughout the generations, Megatron somehow survived countless deaths and changed into different things. In BeastWars, he was a TRex. In Transformers: The Movie, he was changed into a futuristic laser gun by a planet sized robot. Pretty much all Autobots, Decepticons, Dinobots, Constructicons, Airialbots, and other generations transformed into human looking robots.
