Um, I've already had enough problems from messing around. the day after I got the xmag, a "friend" of mine wanted to see what it would look like with the datapimp drop, well the datapimp drop uses slightly shorter screws than the shocktech i had on it- a point that was completely lost on my friend, so he just screws and screws until BOTH bottomline screws snap off inside the grip(!) tried the dremel/flathead screwdriver trick- no luck, just a broken screwdriver and ugly cuts. then tried drilling out one of the screws (that stainless is TOUGH). broke 3 drillbits but finally had a decent hole. got one of those "easy out" screw extractors and threaded t in only to have it break off inside the screw. DMAN. so, I had to order a replacement frame all they had was black which was better than nothing to me. So, now i got a two tone- black and silver XMag. at least it works and it's pretty unique.

so, no, I'm not gonna go "screwing" around with my feed neck any time soon.

        NO!!!!!!!!!

Don't try to unthread them. You CAN'T!

They are not threaded into place, they are press fit and then locked, to prevent movement when twisting the hopper in and out of place, with set screws.

They are manufactured specifically for X-mags.

I don't recommend trying to take them apart. They are assembled and then anodised as one piece.

Yeah, it worked out pretty good. i was thinking of maybe adding a black battery pack and i have a silver to black fade Pipe coming soon. I think I'll wait until the battery packs come milled then think about it.

Sure wait on one of them new battery covers and it would look slick! Its one of a kind now and no one will ever know it was not planned that way. Silver and Black realy go together well.
