Why Steal?

It makes me really mad when I hear of people stealing or when I get something stolen. Why would anyone steal? You can think of it couple ways why not to steal. Pick one and use it to make it where you would never steal. One is, you are breaking one of the ten commandments. If you have any faith in God you have to know he would not want that. Two is, how would you feel if your stuff got stolen? The last one is, try and think of maybe how hard that person you are stealing from worked to get that. It is really just not right. So if we all don't wanna be stolen from then don't steal. Do not promote stealing in front of younger ones either.

I think people steal because they have stolen something before and didn't get caught...

I don't think that your post is going to make a person who steals all of the sudden see the light, and have a life change and never steal again.

Your points are valid, don't mean to be a jerk, but they will change nothing.


Why steal? They want something. There is a way of getting it for free, and a way of paying lots of money for it. They want the easy way out.

I know it won't change just the people that earn their money by stealing but sometimes good paintballers see something good out by itself and think about taking it.

People steal to get something for nothing, DUH! Also, many thiefs (such as Wynona Ryder) steal no because they need anything, but because they enjoy the thrill and excitement. Personally, I think they should all die (dye)!!!

i say he needed some drug money since he is from des moines...dang druggies can't ever do anything right..he is now no longer allowed into my house again lol.

I knew if someone stole something from me and I knew who it was I would be like here play on my team (IN A NICE WAY) and then when the game starts POP POP POP POP POP right in the nuts. And just be like dang you gotta hate those sensitive triggers nowa days. And then go steal my stuff back.hehe.

disclaimer: i meant it to be sarcastic toward the title of this thread. i DO NOT steal in any way, shape, or form. i think anyone who steals from fellow pb players or anyone else for that matter, should be shot in the face with a flame thrower.

here is a little story one why i dont steal. when i was 11 i started saving and working mowing peoples yards. when i was 13 i bought the bike of my dreams, a $300 fatboy speacialized... i had it for a good 6 months and still took care of it like it was new, cause it was a hudge investment for my age. i had to ride to conformation classes one day and went inside to class, i came out and my bike was gone... yep some punk stole a bike at a church. i was sooo mad, it made me want to steal stuff for awhile, then i realized if someone did this to me and i felt this bad, if i do it to others they will feel this bad... i thought about it and decided no one should feel how i felt that day. i was depressed for a good 4 months after that. ok thats all now im into paintball, if someone stole my gun i would run them over then light there house on fire.

Seriously, people are corrupt, and always will be. Thieves are the type of everyday person who would find a wallet on the ground and steal the cash from it, and leave it there, instead of returning it to its owner. Whole guns getting stolen is just ridiculous. I'm glad a lot of HONEST people do not participate in such acts.... but yeah, stealing is wrong, but so is cheating, and a lot of tournament paintball teams cheat. Does this make them equal sinners? You may think that an occasional wipe is harmless, but when you're a pro team competing over thousands of dollars, a wipe is devestating. Cheating, stealing, it all sucks.

I've had thousands of dollars worth of stuff stolen from me over the years.

I got home at about 1AM, wasn't able to park in the garage because something was in the way. I'm about to leave at 6AM, my truck's side window is broke... and all my stuff is gone. I was parked at my house, in a good neighborhood. I lost $600 worth of bowling equipment, $400 worth of stereo stuff. I understand the stereo stuff... but I've yet to figure out what they are going to do with my bowling stuff. (Incidently, this is when I gave up on bowling and picked up paintball). Two months later, my vehicle was broken into again... same way... at school. There was nothing in there except a stamp book (which they didn't take), everything else was stolen already... another $150+ window.

I've had $300 worth of table tennis equipment (I kid you not) stolen from my backpack. I haven't figured out what they are going to do with it... the equipment is no good to anyone else besides me or another tourny player who uses the same type of equipment.

High school locker broken into... $120+ sunglasses gone... $100 chess clock stolen along with my board/set/case... about $60.

I keep NOTHING in my vehicle now, and my windows are dark tinted. I guard my paintball stuff like a hawk... my gun is either in my hand or in my truck. I don't set it down except for right in front with my eyes on it.

well ive only had one gun stolen from me and that was a talon. I really hope the lucky boy has fun with it because it didnt work (that b.e. pos) I personaly have had nothing stolen besides that but my friend had his impy stolen from ontop his car. he got it back though from a little 13 year old druggie kid that we cought down the block with it. (ahh yes the little thief was caught)

I can pretty much prove than I am really honest guy! I was behind this bunker that had all these little gaps here and there and a guy was just lighting my bunker up. one ball cam through and hit me in my foot. I know half the people I played with would have wiped that for sure. I was pretty mad but I called myslef out.
