My "new" eMag and a question

Well, I've managed to scam, er, I mean make a deal for a nice emag (The one Jam sold to a friend of mine). Only problem is that it is hopper left, and I have a warp. Is there any way I can use my classic body? Can I use the classic body and rail?

    Thanks.

    Here it is:

classic bodies have the square lock thingy, and rtp/emag rails have the circle lock hole thing. you can fit rtp/emag bodies in classic rails, but not vise versa. im guessing if you mill that into a circle youd be able to fit it.. but i doubt you could do that.

Classic body won't work because it has that larger 'pim' that fits into the classic rail, it won't fit into the round hole in the E-rail. An E-Mag body will work on a classic rail because it's pim is smaller than the hole in the classic rail.

The classic rail won't work on the E-Mag for several reasons. First, the battery contacts are housed in the E-Rail. Second, the sear pin is screwed into the E-Rail. Among other reasons I'm someone else will post.

Sorry. Your best bet would be to sell the E-Body in the Classifieds and buy the correct body.

i put a mini body on an e-mag rail, so yes you can do it. there are several things that must be done, though.

        1. the square deally, must be turned into a circle deally. the hardest thing is not getting it round, but tapering it. it must be tapered and rouned to fit in the round hole.

2.in the back of the body, the hole on the bottom for the sear must be made larger. the sear contacts this and will jam up if nat made larger.

it is possible to do this in under an hour with a dremel. trust me.

Why won't your warp work on the current body?

Glad to see it's found a nice home.

I can make it work, but it isn't nearly as nice a setup with a PF HL body as with a PF HR or warp body.

i dont have a digi camera, but i will try to borrow one to get pics up either today or tommarow. if you want i can take measurements of what i ground it down to, and what i opened up the sear hole thingy (technical term) to for you. all i did was take off a bunch untill it was round, and then from there i just took off little by little and test fitted it in between each removal of metal, and just keep on test fitting/grinding untill it fit nice and snug.

Sounds great. Anyone what to trade a PF HL Black body for a Warp Left Black body?

all right, heres what i got.

the back hole for the on off- widened to the left(when looking at it from the back) 1/32"

the rectangle gone roune-now has 5/64" remaining arround the bolt hole. it is slightly tapered, ans i cant get a good reading on how much the taper is.

                            hope this helps.
