    Mail it or check it?

I'm off to Florida next week to play in a scenerio game. Should I FedEx my gun and tank, or do you think it's "safe" to check it with my luggage.

maybe if you took it apart then you might be able to just check it.... mailing it would be fast, though, and almost hassle-free. If you checked it, and they wouldn't let you bring it on, then you wouldn't have a gun, whereas if you mailed it, you'd have no problems.

Yeah. Put insurance on it if you send it through the mail.

I flew with it last year, but that was before the super-duper check every bag rule. It's suppose to be ok. My mom is in the TSA (Transportation Safety Authority) and she says its ok, but I still don't know.

I would ship it UPS so you can get a tracking number that you can trace on the web, and you can get insurance in case they loose it.

if you have no problem with paying the cash mail it. you should be ok to travel with it, if it is take apart and the tank de-pressured.

We all checked our guns on the plane to Vegas last weekend with no problems. Just make sure the tank is empty.

yup what Troy said. my dad works for the airlines and as long as your tank is empty and you check your marker in, they dont care. last time i traveled with my marker, they just asked if my tank was empty and if i am checking it in. there shouldnt be any problem traveling with it.

I never told them I had a marker or tank.
