Well, the inevitable happend today, broke the cocker. Put it behind me sat down, needed a drink, got up CRACK. No more LPR, like 3 rungs broke off the threads and are still in the front block....I need a new front block the LPR has enough threads on it to still be usable.

You can get a little device from Home Depot to remove those threads. Its call an extractor I believe and you just tap into the hole so it gets a "bite" on the inside of the remains of the thread. Then simply attach a socket wrench on top and back those threads out.
The tool costs maybe $2.00 and will save you the cost of the front block.
***EDIT*** The item is called an easy out ... I have also been informed that they have reversed thread drill bits also that you can use for this.
