    On/Off Switch for Emag/MicroE

I know there are pics and such of this mod, but is anyone actually doing the modification for other people's markers?

I just got a Nickel Micro E and I really want to get a on/ off switch or button installed instead of the yellow pin.

Someone please let me know, and send some pics if you have it done already

    Thanks

ya see, the thing is, the on off switch needs ace to work.

Some people have modded switches for their markers, but they fail after so long...

The switch is nice, but i still use my disrupter pin, even with the switch.

you see, there is always current going into that board(the ace board)

there fore, when adjusting or taking your ace out, with the switch off and battery on, you cans till easily fry your ace board, trust me, i know!

They are talking about a standard e-mag and micro e-mag. Neither guns have ACE so they have nothing to worry about.

Me 4, my interrupter pin is gay, both of the ones I have, you can just turn it a bit and get it to turn on without taking it out. Not cool when you accidentally knock it or its in your gear bag.

                  switch

If I could get a on/off just to kill power to the marker, I would be happy as opposed to the pin.

My safety assembly is pretty much non existent ( It goes on with the slightest tap, so I had to remove it. ) I am using the electric mode with the pin to keep it on safe right now.

                    hmmm...

I have seen this mod before. I personally dont like it because it doesnt replace the hole for the interrupter. I will fish around and post the instructions

                      pin switch

you can modify your pin or anything else plastic to be a switch. I used the end of a testors paint brush and a large DIE (dice)for a switch. Just shave oposite sides of your pin (it does not take much) and your gun will turn on and off with every quarter turn. Put a SMALL screw through or just into the pin on the inside of the battery pack and it wont fall out. You can make a custom pin this way. anyone want pics? I have my pin bungied to my power feed.
