    micro mini toggle rated 3amp at what voltage? it is also voltage dependent. Anyway, draw is rated for continous. While the solenoid may draw upto 3amp, it is momentary draw, so it averages much lower. If micro mini is rated at 3amp at 12v, I would say it is not high enough. if it is 3amp at 120, it is more than enough.

      Switches do not draw current. They simply need to handle it. Yes, it's 120 volts. However, the switch still needs to be rated for the current draw. They aren't rated in watts, but amps.

      I wouldn't trust it. Besides, using a transistor is easy.
