trade my imp for a mag?

    i have an impulse currently
    non vision impulse
    -Jackhammer II LPR setup
    -14in dye Boomstick
    -12in all american
    -ND bolt
    -ND slick shot shaft
    -Rat hole hammer
    -gadget grip
    -ND biohazard hammer cap
    -ND blade trigger
    -Dye stickie grips
    -Evolution 2
    -68/3k PMI PE fiber tank
and it broke on me 2 out of the 3 times i played with it, but it rips like no other once you get it working. I think its just that i need to learn the gun before i start to play with it (i read up on it, but reading is nothing like hands on experience). Its currently at the shop getting a tune up/fixed for a erratic velocity problem, and im confident once it gets back, it will be in perfect working condition and will rip.. so my pickle is: shall i keep the impulse, or trade it for a mag?

Give me the marker thread link please

btw, would all the newer people (hah, weird coming from me) STOP SAYING "THIS IS AO YOU WILL BE BIASED!!" recently!! I swear the last few days have been nothing but that, and no help to the person asking the question! AO is SO unbiased about things like this its crazy! Sure almost everyone here has a mag, but most people here have had ALL kinds of guns and still have and play with those other guns (impys, cockers, anything, you name it!)! A lot of people on these forums dont even LIKE mags anymore, but stay on for the information and the friendly/helpful environment! Stop it!

I think it's probably a personal preference at this point. Normally you could say go for the new thing if you're bored with your old setup, but if you're just getting fond of your impy that factor doesn't really help.

Don't know what to tell you man. I have the same issue with my impy. Think I've only had it up and running right for a few hours total. Narrowed it down to a bad valve though so we'll see this weekend. Hopefully. They do rip once they're up and going though. Sounds like you've dropped some cash in upgrades though, I'd get it back and see how it runs after the tune up. Good luck.

I may be biased twords mags, but I also dont like Impulses, and I'm glad I diddnt get one when I was thinking about it, and saved for an e-mag instead. I say you should trade it for a mag, but only if you cant learn what keeps screwing up your gun and how to prevent those things. If you cant/too lazy to learn, just get a mag, or try some other gun out (autococker, blazer, tippmann a5 )

Imp (but what do you expect me to say )

And no matter who else says differently and/or flames me, this is AO, so of course more people will vote for get the mag. Go post this on an impulse forum and of course everyone will vote impy.

I say go with whatever you play with the best, because that's what matters.

Hey, if you like the feel of your pulse but want something a little more reliable, go for a bushy. You can get great deals used and the aftermarket for these things is absolutely blowing up right now. Of course, the exact same case can be made for mags.
I'm nothing more than text to you...

Got a pic of the imp? So I can see what you got. I think imps are just as good as mags, I see them in action every friday night and I must say they can keep up with the mags thats for sure. If you do trade it for a mag, go for a RTP or a E-mag. Thats my 2-cents.
