Nitro Tank Abuse

My friend has a Redz tank cover, and he cant get a grip on the tank to unscrew it. Instead he grabs the gage. I tell him he could damage it, and he says no way. Who is right?"

your right, he could damage the guage, but most likely not. best idea is to unscrew it from the reg body, or take off the tank cover and jsut grab the tank. safety first

if the reg starts to seperate from the cylinder, than unscrew from the guage and take it to hte local scuba place to get checked out and stuck together again.

unscrewing it from the reg is not bad, but otherwise just take the tank cover off and unscrew it

you're right.
i have screwed up my guage so many times doing stupid stuff. my shop has been nice enough to replace it "under warranty"
