OK go back and make sure the sear pin is properly in place. That is seated in the rail in the slot and rocks freely.
Do you still have your old valve? If so compair the two on off pins in size. If not do you have calipers you can use to measure it?
Double check that all the orings are in place in the on off and its still intact while you have it back apart to check the sear.
Then lets go back over the carrier and proper order of the Washer and all in the Power Tube...
Should be white washer in first, proper carrier chosen with a O ring in it, then spacer washers (Silver ones, try two at first) then PT Tip and lightly but snuggly wrenched down.
Start with the 2.0 spacer and see how it fits. If it is not hanging on good step to the next smaller one and so forth until it hangs on but slides fairly easy.
