    Flatline drops

I was just wondering which drop forward/cradle you guys prefer with your flatline tanks. I am moving up from a preset to a flatline, so I can't use my asa drop anymore.

Since I like my setups real tight and small I use a TKO w/o the asa on my 45/45 flatline. Moves it up nice and far so I can tuck it.

I used to use a KAPP Drop on mine, but now use the AO Drop. Both work very well.

The little stock drops you used to get with them work fine and are about the right size. However Datapimps Drops are classier and work great. Nice features. Good lookin too. He has a lot of pictures of them up over in the Dealers Forum.

Hey Russ, Is it just me, or does it look like the AO drop's quick disconnect (that red screw) is hard to get out with the bottle attached?

You don't take it all the way out and it clears a slot in there that you cannot see. It comes out fine far enough down to slide the drop off. That fact it doesn't just drop free is a clever part of the design so you will not lose the screw. It can come all the way out but you have a few threads more down there to completly remove it. You would have to see it to understand I think.

                              afrankart,

Phil's right on the money, the screw doesn't need to come out all the way, and it does have a cool retention feature (so the screw don't fall out)

DataPimp's drops are a quality item
