Very true. I'm not sure how they set it up but one would hope they notified and have agreements with all the ladies and their respective companies/teams. If not it would seem to be a rather poor business decision....

I remember long ago when I played paintball the covers of APG usually had a bunch of models in swimsuits hanging off some guy with a polished PMI-3 (VM68) and I thought then that it hurt the sport of paintball.. back then paintball was a "game" people saw that looked like we were playing "war", war and then swimsuit models kinda gave it a bad image...

Well now Paintball is actually considered a sport and not a "Survival Game" or make believe war. So now I can enjoy the models holding the hi-tech markers.

Here at work I have the beta picture of Clare holding her purple X-Mag as the wallpaper on one of our lab machines (I work at Apple Computer), my buddies girlfriend said it was degrading, but once I explained that she was not just a pretty girl but a great paintball athlete that happened to be pretty... she seemed OK with it. And this from a girl that just recently protested outside of a Honey Ham Bakery on Easter Sunday.... lol (Vegan, anti-war, activist.. etc..). So if she could see the good.. then I think anyone else can. What would be great is if they showed action shots of theses ladies and THEN the beach swimsuit pics..

Dunno where Clare placed in the voting, but even if she won or placed highly, things came up. As such, she wouldn't have been able to be in Vegas for the photo shoot anyway.
