As I interpret that, if the paint throws off the tolerances it will void the warranty. Painting and then sanding down the paint on the underside where body contacts the rail should avoid any tolerance issues.

my dealer does a great job powdercoating. what do you need done and what color and ill see the price. he does fades too.

Or mask off those areas. Another area to avoid painting/coating/whatever are the areas on the rail & gripframe where the two meet.

Anno didnt do anything to my gun, its still reactive as ever, the tolerancies were not thrown off any little bit.

i think i'm going to get the body powder coated it may be expensive but it will last thats what i need.
