Great! Have you fired it yet? Any issues with the washer in terms of getting it out and back in and aligned right?

Oh yea pics would be nice.

No problems with the washer. Just screwed it back in flush. Since mine is drilled for setscrews, it won't back out but I will still go back and loc tite it as soon as I get a chance.

Ballpark, how much does an ano job like that cost? And about how long was the turnaround?

              cost? Check out www.xpb.us

It's not that expensive but it takes a few weeks.

the anodizing looks like its quality work, fruity color but quality work. If it was a darker purple / black then it would look good.

your FAQ has a little error. Titanium can be annodized, though it cannot be dyed as can aluminum. The color has to come from the temperature of the bath and the current. :)

                  Nice job though!

                    Wasnt your SFL already purple?
Or did you buy a bunch of stuff (breech, barrel, ect) and decided it would just look better if you got it all reannoed..
                    Or.. whaT?

Either way, that looks REALLY nice!!!!!

If I recall correctly, his SFL was bead blasted and he wanted it polished again and re-annoed.

Looks very nice! Vangogo has a lot of work thanks to AO, and now I can see why, look at the qualiy.

It was blasted.... And before that it was a different purple. Now it's final... The picture doesn't due it justice!!!!

I also took a few in sunlight to show the color effects, shine, etc. Sorry... I suck as a photographer.

See the ano'd NW QD :)

Glad to see you finally got it, and are pleased! Neither of us know what happened with the shipping- - - you definitly should have gotten it earlier than you did. At any rate, you have it now :)

Looks great to finally see it all back together again! I got so used to seeing that gun on a daily basis- - - it peices lol.

                            sniper1rfa,

thank you for pointing that out. We know that titanium CAN be annodized, and the process which it entails. The reason we didnt list it as such is because we are working to specialize in Aluminum work, and basiclly we are just not doing Titanium. However, Im sure that we could re-word the FAQ on the site to be a little more specific and informative.

Usually our turnaround time is not as long as it was with this gun. In this case, the prep work and polishing took about 5 times longer than it normally would have. This was pretty much due to the finish on the marker when we received it. (the media used to PUT that finish on there was the main reason. . lol). However, im glad to see how it finally came out. Finally, Thanks to you jeffery, for letting us do the work on the gun for you.

                            Carl

                            *edit*
The way the peices looked to me, (correct me if it dosent look this way to you, jeffery. . ) when you get it in sunlight there's almost a weird 'chameleon' effect in the color- - the shade kinda changes depending on which angle you hold it in the light. I thought it was reallly cool- - you like?

Looks great. I was able to read the whole thread before the pic was fully loaded tho! Cropping and resizing are good buttons! Makes me even more anxious to get my mags from Xtreme!
