whats the difference between a 3000 psi tank and a 4500 psi tank

whats the main difference between the 3000 and the 4500 psi tanks beside the amount of pressure they can hold?

Xen, your on final warning. Your attitude is not welcome anymore. It will be permanent this time. No discussion.

The regulator is stronger and so is the tank to handle the additional pressure. 1500 psi.

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

Seriously... that IS the difference. The OTHER number (example: 68/4500) is how much space there is to hold that pressure.

I hope that clears things up for you.

By performance, I assume you mean flow rate and consistency. the answer is no. The 4500 systems are capable of holding more air, whicjh can be a good thing, depending on how & where you play.

you can get 50-70% more shot depending upon marker due to higher pressure that it can sure. If you are using 3k to fill(ie scuba) no practical difference.

                half of 3000 is 1500.

so 4500 tank gets 50% more shots than 3k tank...theoretically
