A question for all you J&J Edge users

I just got one today and haven't used it yet. I was wondering how quiet this barrel is and if the efficiency is bad due to all the porting ? I was using a DYE Boomstick but this J&J seems to have a lot more porting.

I've only shot about a hopper through mine so I couldn't say on efficiency, but it seems to be a little louder than my 12" AA.

Can someone who has an edge kit tell me how long the back control bores are? They look kind of short in all the pictures ive seen so far.

5". You can custom order them longer (I think), up to like 7". But, it'll cost you extra.
Also, the porting on mine doesnt start for another 2" down the barrel, so, you actually get about 7 before the air vents.
