    E-Mag

I played my first tourney with the new ULE body this weekend, and also with the trigjob by Havoc. I looked like an idiot...i couldn't stop shooting my bunker. Trigger is so light...it's too much gun for me, lol. Anyways, the gun is still chopping when I fire fast. I've done alot of adjusting to the detent, but haven't found the spot yet, if that's it. I have one of the first ULE's that came from the Ultimate Madness...what can I do? Thanks.

What's your set-up? Hopper? Bolt? Warp Feed?

Are the balls chopping, or being busted by the bolt?

          Yeah, I know

I know the Lvl X will eliminate the chopping, but I'm thinking that then I'll be misfiring as much as I was chopping. Lvl X will be put in, but I gotta figure this part out first.

No Warp, just an Egg. Regular E-Mag bolt, not sure what spring. The guys started me out with the o-ring and carrier o-ring, then I tried it with both off...with one on...and now with two big arse o-rings over the detent. Still not sitting right. If I drop a ball in the breech, it should fall to the bottom right? Even without the weight of the next ball? I also took my detent around with me for a week and played with it when my hands weren't busy. I'm sure it's not too stiff.

          Thanks everyone.

It doesn't seem to wotk that way. A friend of mine just bought an emag and wanted to "try it out first before I teched on it". He was having chopping issues the first two games. Then I put the level 10 in it and they went away. No more and a few (3?) misfires the rest of the day.

And no, I have no idea why it works that way.

just get the LX kit. in another thread, tom said the origion ule bodys i believe sold at UM were off and the detents were messed up. the fix was to take an extra oring from the LX kit, put it on the detent and that would fix it. it was a classic thread so i would just do a quick look to find it.

Your problem is BLOWBACK. The standard emag internals create too much blowback for a centerfeed. My emag came with a powerfeed and I never had choping problems. I bought a standard centerfeed mainbody and I started choping. I got level 10 and bam no more choping. The level 10 bolt has less blowback. I suggest you buy a powerfeed mainbody if your going to shoot a mag. Level 10 is not a reliable upgrade.

Now this has got to be the funniest thing Ive ever seen in this post.

First off, if you are going to invest in a marker that can shot 16 bps, then buy a hopper that can support it.

Second, my high rise center feed EMAG "Rarely" chopped paint with level 7 and it is a 800 serial number.

Third, you are way off track on the level x bolt. Once you get it set up correctly, it is one of the best upgrades you can buy.

Nic, I would try to figure out the detent problem(if that is what it is). To answer your question about the ball being able to drop into the barrel from the feed neck. Yes it should fully drop into the barrel, the detent only prevents it from falling out of the barrel.

Sorry for the slam Phil, I just think you gave Nic some bad advice.

I will let you slide this time. You are right that the halo would solve his problem. I am just not a big fan of the halo. The L10 can be a nightmare to get set up properly if there is a problem. My emag still does not fire on the first shot unless you hold down the trigger for several seconds. I had one friend give up and another had to send his to AGD twice and another who is still trying to get it working.

Nitemare? I'll take care of that nitemare for ya.. just send over the Emag and a LX kit... I'll set it up for free.

                            Really.
Just to be able to use a E-mag. Might be a couple years before you get the marker back though.

                              Thanks everyone.

Thanks for all the advice...I'll take your word for it TechWang...LX goes in this week. The E did have a powerfeed and I couldn't break if I tried, even without the LX. Now with the ULE, every 7th ball. But I still love it. I'd rather chop every 7th ball with a mag than shoot anything else. lol.

Rehme, what's up brother. We got 6th in the prelims, they took the top 5. We were oh so close. I had a really good time. I got picked up by the HotShots or I wouldn't have even got to play. And they stepped up a class just so we could play together. They are awesome guys. Keep in touch, and go check out www.1shotprod.com. Later!

                              Thanks again everyone,
