Thinking of getting a Tippy 98 for fun

I got some extra cash laying around and i thought it would be cool to get a 98 and deck it out. It would be primarily a scenario gun and gun for friends to play with. I am not a big Tippy fan, im a spyder fan, but i just like how you can hook tippys up tolook like MP5s and such for scenarios. they are awsome scenario guns. Hmmmm....should i get one?

I'm thinking of picking one up, for when I can't use my Emag. Just last weekend, I couldn't play at my friend's house, because, the game being planned at the last minute, the only place to get a fill early in the morning was a sporting goods store tha tonly filled co2. No pb stores opened before 11 am, and the nearest one till mid afternoon. But, I can't justify that purchase right now, considering my Emag is begging me for level 10 and a barrel kit.

i just got a bud of mine to buy a MAG.

he had a 98c w/RT, it needs some work but would be a good project gun.

i think he would let it go cheap. pm me if your intrested.

Go ahead and get one. They are fun, cheap, and durable guns with a lots of good upgrades. Even though I have an micro-e I got one anyways since they are cheap and fun to upgrade into a scenario gun or a backup(those m16 upgrades look amazing too).
set up: Micro e-mag with 32 degree chrome flame drop, Level 10, 88/4500 crossfire, 12 in CP, 32 degree whisper and ARADUS 14in barrel, EVO II.

The M98 was the first semi I owned. I still use it as a field marker and loaner. It has never stopped working.

My tippys are invincable! If you are into scenarios check out www.tippmann.com in the Marker pics section of the forums. There is a great article on how to make an A-5 into a P90.

Don't listen to what the stupid people say. The flatine barrel is amazing. It is really bad if you don't install it right, Tippmann will do that for you though. The RT is insane when tuned right and the e-kits are good if your field doesn't allow the RT.

All in all. Tippy's are great guns. I currently have an A-5, m98, another m98 and a SMG-60. All are incredibly durable. The SMG still works damn it.

They are great guns for the price. My freind completly submerged his in water and it still works. I was planning to get one as a backup gun when i had my cocker, but now that i have a mag, i dont need a backup gun.
