Not to happy with my new DYE INVISION

I just picked up an Invision and i am disappointed. I was relucatant to buy it, cause im not a big DYE fan, but the owner of my local shop convinced me to buy it over the proteus, and this thing is heavy and uncomfrtable as hell. Grrrrrr..... I might take it back.


My 3 year old Scott Hot Shot is alot more comfortable then this.

I'd take it back, get the Proteus, or get a VForce morph!

Funny mine is not heavy at all, and very comfortable. Sits very snug on my face, and has a good field of vision. Plenty of room between the bottom of the mask, and my chin too. The Proteus, would always sit right on my chin, and piss me off.

Mine bothered me as well, so I gave it to my Kid, and he don't like it much, either.

I will try the Morph. It fits well over my glasses, too.

get the proteus no matter what. it is the best mask out there in my opinion. i have a huge head too, and less than an inch of my chin is exposed when my jaw drops after bieng shot in the face.

I think a lot of people dont like they DYE cause of that hard foam in it. I know I really hate that. Get some soft foam like in flex's

Go with a V-Force Morph. You won't regret it. Especially if you wear glasses.

I really like my Nuvi goggles. They are a nice small mask like the dye and the lenses are crap like the dye goggles and they have comfortable foam. The only thing the dye have over the other systems is looks. No one who I know has been very impressed with them.

Also pito plenty of room between your chin and the goggles? You must have one small head because they are small goggles.

Emag man he just means compared to the proteus I think, cuz the proteus always feels like it'll hit me in the teeth or tongue if I smile

Anyhow, I just got a Morph and I couldn't be happer with it. It feels HUGE on your head, but if you look in the mirror it looks small and doesn't add much more to hit. The lenses are great, i played with mine for the first time last week at the rainy AO NE day and they didn't show any signs of fogging. Insanely easy to pop the lenses out to clean, too.
