I believe that the popularity of mags will continue to increase as more quality upgrades and improvements keep on coming at a steady ( but not flooding) rate.
Lets face it, the more we stay true to our mags, and the more use them, the more positive exposure mags will get.

thats the reason, i live in calgary, and teh most common gun here is timmy's. gee i wonder why, we only have mike carey from bob long ironmen/oakland assasins who, of course, use timmys

No doubt that Automags are missing in tourneyments. Its even worse here in Europe. I just played in a tourney with a mag and everyone looked amazed that I was using it. Over here everyone uses Matrix's, Cockers, Angels, and Impulses. With the air bunkers getting smaller and more people opting for throwing paint over tactics and skills, mechanical automags won't be seen on in tourneys.

I remember the last time I played in a tourney, only ONE guy had a mag asides from my 3-Man team, which at the time was all mags. That guys gun was cool, it was a old school RT with a Z-Grip.

Then this would also hurt their production and profit, so pretty much all agd does in wheeling is assemble them?..

If everyone shot a mag, the paintball community would be significantly larger. I can't begin to say how many people I know personally don't play paintball because of a broken marker, or because their marker is off getting fixed.
                          Respect that.

I am the only mag shoter on my 7-man team and I will not change. I have never had amy problems with my mag that caused a delay of game for any reaseon...ever. My partners well that is another story.

The good news is 2 folks just bought warp feeds for their impys cuz they felt it was almost impossible to win in a shootout.

My only question is, why does it take xmags so long to be produced? Is it mainly the c&c body?

actually i got my mag for different reasons than have been stated. i obviously didn't get 1 because they're popular, i'm the only 1 in my area w/ a mag, so that also means i didn't get it by word of mouth. I actually chose a mag because it was something else, i wanted to upgrade, but every 1 and their mothers has a cocker around here, so i looked at a mag, did some research, and here i am, a proud mag owner. so i got mine so i wouldn't be "following the crowd" and boy am i glad i didn't, i love my mag, i'm gonna keep it for a very long time.
