AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Seems as though I followed the rules in the first place.
With both Capo and the X-Mag, you don't need allot of verbiage anyway. They both do a great job of speaking for themselves. And if she happens to be showing that same midriff in a final version, you might just have people pulling over and / or crashing.
I think this is what you meant when you said to use JAMs billboard pic.
i'm voting for Jam's.
a lot of people are puting WAY too much text on it. its not a ad, its a bill board.
i'm looking at these by going 'i know nothing about paintball, whats this ad about?'
and some of them aren't even coming close to getting the point across.
Jam's is simple, people are gonna see a gun, a attractive one, and to a person who knows nothing about paintball, or doens't even know about paintball, its gonna look like a completely nice gun, and be interested more to read what exactly it is. same thing goes for people who will KNOW what it is, but sees a attractive new marker
also, a lot of people are targeting the ad on just the Xmag.
i believe the bill board is for the company agd, just not a particular item. Jam has the xmag in it, but it doens't say, Xxx. xmag, xcellente, xtreme, or anything. x isn't like a new tradition for AGD or anything so why?
only thing i think is missing, is a web site address, either AO or airgun.com
might interest people enough, so when they get home they're gonna wanna learn more about it.
For the most part I agree with you, but a couple of points... The Billboard is for the IAO, so the target audience should at the very least know what Paintball is. Also, last years add turned out to be just for the Warp Feed, so there shouldn't be a problem with adds primarily for the X-Mag.
