I was stationed in anchorage for 3 and a half years. Where is the field that ya'll played on? Oh and on the note of people wanting to live there yeah it's ok for a few weeks at a time (only in the summer) but the place sucks in the winter. And don't even ask about the combat fishing. The only thing to do up there really is to drink. Ok i had fun on the weekends.

OK, let me just say this. Alaska may not be for everyone. Beautiful outdoors with lots of fresh air, it has, If you are looking for the night life where the city dosn't close well you may want to try New York or Vegas. Alaska you either love it or hate it. After 23 years living in Alaska I cannot remember meeting someone who has lived here for a while and thinks that Alaska is just OK. The "OK's" are usually the people on their way / or looking to get out of Alaska, be it College kids or some Military personel. Visit Alaska! it is not as cold as you think in certain parts. Even the below 0 weather is not that bad. See the cold in the interior of Alaska is a dry cold. The east coast had worse weather last winter than us in Juneau and I bet Primetimes home city Kenai.

True Gadget Alaska is not for everyone, and yes I hate the cold but I do snowmachine and it really makes up for living here in the winter.

As for the weather the last tourney at the Big lake field it was 95* on Saturday and 97* on Sunday. I've lived here for almost 33years and can't remember a day that its ever been that hot.

I want to move to Las Vegas/Bullhead City I love the heat but my girlfriend can't stand it and she won't move.

Also I work at Kuparuk Oil Field in Alaska/Prudhoe Bay and I can remember working one day when it was -115* below zero, the coldest day in my life. You get both side of the spectrum here and I think thats why we who choose to live here love it!!
