    LCD's Obsolete?

Since the IR3 and the Speed were released, will the Angel LCD become and extinct gun as far as parts for it go? How can you keep the LCD updated with WDPs and other companys newer angels?

I hope not, I have an IR3, but man let me tell you, there's nothing like firing an old LCD, they just have that certain feel to them, especially those new ones the limitededition ones with IR3 internals, man those are nice.

To answer your question, just look at the LED. They officially (WDP) don't even make the markers anymore as production on those stopped about 4 years ago, but parts aren't too hard to come by. LCD is still being produced. Parts won't be a problem for a long time, the gun is still being made and I doubt it will be stopped as long as people are buying them.

thats false, there are currently no lcds in production, there were no formal 2k2 model lcds and the 2k3 lcd was a limited edition, so i believe that the lcd is phasing out

Angels really haven't materailly changed over the last 8 years. the "wearing" arts are still teh same. Need ram parts? a new parts kit will still do ya fine. Need to rebuild that lpr? Need to replace it with a rock? need a new battery? the onlything you might have troubble with is the 14way on the LED.. and that uses common o-rings IIRC. and then other angels just use "normal" solinoids. Your gun will be maintainable for many years to come.

it will be interesting to see if they keep the lcd as there lower priced gun. they have the speed lower priced too so who knows
i think they will do the limited addition every year
