depends on how fast you shoot. it will do 6bps ok, 12v will do about 10. evo2 will do 16, halo b will do 20 or so.

so, if you primarily play woodball/recball using mechanical marker, you should be fine.

with lvl 10 (and if its a classic/ mini mag) you should be fine. as long as you get lvl 10 you will be good to go. without lvl 10 you will chop every few shots. i went through this. make sure lvl 10 is first thing you get. imho its the best mag upgrade there is. then worry bout getting nitro if u dont have it. nitro is the way to go with a mag.

also depends on the mag your getting. My old (1998) minimag with its stock valve and stiffer trigger pull (then todays mags) did not shoot very fast and that is why I still have my old VL2000.

          BOOM!
          Yea, thats about right.
Level 10 is the most amazing upgrade ever divised by anyone. Although it fixed a chronic problem that plauged people with mags for a while, the drop in design of the upgrade makes sure anyone with a mag and 80 bucks is not chopping a bit. I had a friend who had an emag before level 10, and thats just a bad idea. I think that it was a blender myself, because beofre halob you couldnt shoot that fast with any hopper.
Get the LvL and then get so NITRO and then mabye a retro down the line, not nessisary but nice.

            lvl X vs 9v

Take the 50 or so bucks you would put towards the 12v or what ever hopper you were thinking of and put it towards a level ten. It'll be well worth it in the long run.
