What do you recommend for a preset 68 4500 tank ?

I'm looking for one for a newbie friend of mine. I've been using a Centerflag preset and have been very happy with it. Is Centerflag still making really good valves for their tanks ? I found a preset Centerflag 68 4500 for $185.

Ok so Crossfire seems to be pretty popular so far. My buddy's getting a Bushmaster BKO so should I tell him to get a Crossfire that has a preset output of 450psi ? ICD says a lower output tank makes the BKO work better. Has anybody used one of the lower psi preset Crossfire tanks ?

just get the high pressure tank, this way if u ever want to use the tank on some other gun, you can do it no problem. if he thinks it needs that extra reg that bad then get a pmi thor

Crossfire or Centerflags are the best preset tanks.

first off, its for a BKO correct? You will HAVE to get a low pressure output tank. The regs that come on ICD guns suck, period, end of story. If you put more than 450 (low pressure output pre-set)into the gun it will fubar the reg and you will have to get a new one. You could go high pressure output but you will have to change the reg. My shop's owner has a BKO as back up and has a 72/45 low pressure tank on his. His reg got fubar from a diff tank though so he put a Mac-dev galdiator on it. Personally, I have a 45/45 PMI Pure Energy tank for my timmy and the thing is great. Good reg, consistent output, never had any problems, also the reg is a little bit smaller than a Crossfire reg. But like I said, with the booko you have to get a low pressure tank, if he can only afford a pre-set. What I would do personally is get a preset (whatever size) high output tank and a PMI thor reg. The thor ref will make that tank adjustable and you can put it on a Shockteck drop, CP, etc. All in all I reccomend a PMI thor system for the BKO.

Also, tell your friend to get a force-feed hopper. The detents on the BKO are not the greatest and can easily make a ball get chopped.

                            Just my $.02.

hrm, maybey tahts why my cusins gun really went fubar. one day we were playing, he shot, chopped a ball, seemed to jam the gun and all the tanks air leaked out by the ram, then, when we cleaned it out, and gas up, it wouldnt leak, but refused to shoot. so after he sends in and gets the gun back from icd ill tell him to get a torpedo reg or mac dev, cuz he was using a crossfire high pressure tank. and dont you mean tell him to not get a force feed hopper?
