Today there was a 5-man down in central IL at Area 52. Weather was nice, quite windy when we got there but died down by game time.
Prelims - Max'd all games except 1 missed flag pull and lost 1 game finishing as the top seed. Prelims took a lot longer than the staff had planned so they called a captains meeting(for the top 6 teams) after prelims to vote on whether or not to let the scores stand as is and call it a day or do a single elim final round. I expected a 5-1 vote in favor of finals but it was actually 3-3 and the refs cast the deciding vote and said finals.
Finals - First game. Got the first pull and then they just started to drop. Finished the game with all 5 alive/pull/hang.
Second game. First pull and just sat and let time run out, Game over.
All through the day we were selling people on the idea of the warp(on and off the field) and there were 2 pending sales for warps that I knew of.
The only bad part of the day was the traffic on I-55 on the way home.
