AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Ok, i am sick of posts like this so i am going to set everyone straight.
My brother works for paintballgear.com and i hear complaining all the time about them not having items and have the sight say its instock when it isn't. Well for one its not paintballgears fault that they don't have items, its the manufacterers fault, my bro tells me that they have tons of things on order all the time like halos and so forth, but its not their fault they don't have them, they are on order and they have to wait for oddysey to send them to them. They have no say in when they get there, they just tell the customers what they were told and thats all they can do. And for the instock thing, paintballgear.com is one of, if not the most popular paintball website there is for purchasing, there is no way they can possible keep up with the instock option when that many things are ordered a day. So when you get mad about them not having something, blame the manufacter, not paintballgear, and when they have instock up and its really not? Calm down, they can't update everything at one time, they are only human. Don't take this post as an insult or anything, i just simply don't like all the posts about paintballgear getting a bad rap. Its a great site with great people. Thanks.
RushA, Not that anyone was bashing pbgear in this thread, just asking who was the best for Mag parts, but since you brought it up.......I happen to dislike pbgear for three more reasons. First, their policy that if the piece is under 10 dollars they can replace it with something similar if what you ordered is out of stock. If I wanted something similar I would have odered it. I want the part I ordered and i'll wait for it. that's their policy and not the manufacturers fault. Second, twice in a row they have sent me the same wrong part (and yes it was over 10 dollars). Still their fault not the manufacturer's. And third, when I sent back the wrong part the last time, instead of putting my order on back order until the right part came in they just cancelled my order without telling me! I found out they cancelled it by my credit card statement. Can't blame that on the manufacturer.
That's why I will never use them again!
Just because your brother works there, and i'm sure he's a nice guy, but it doesn't mean it's a great place and they don't deserve the comments they get here.
Well... as far as I'm concerned Action Village doesnt exist and they are the biggest joke of a "store" that I can think of, but that's not why I replied to this thread.
Anyway... I have yet to find a good store that carries alot of mag stuff, besides the AGD store. Most of the time, when I need something for my mags, I search through a big ole' list of paintball stores that I have accumulated in my favorites over the past few months. Most of the time I can find what I'm looking for at decent prices. It is frustrating though, that so many stores carry so much more for other guns than automags. The most frustrating thing is when I find something, order it, and then get a call an hour later saying it's out of stock. AHH!
Anyway, I've only had trouble finding a few parts. Right now I'm looking for a KAPP Foregrip and an Omega Rail and havn't had any luck, and I had a hell of a time finding a KAPP Foregrip Extender.
Ok just curious, when you are ordering a barrel from paintballgear. Do you just put in the comments that you want a centerfeed? Thanks for all the help. For what its worth RushA i havent had any problems with paintballgear since they got the new customer service system. I especially like how they got my paint to me without any breaks. That is a plus alone!

Anyone ever take into consideration there isn't much you can add to a mag to make it better or "custom" performance wise. (I guess besides a barrel but a barrel is a barrel). Lets see the body, valve, frame, barrel, and air/accessories. Only the accessories and the barrel are really custom for performance. Everything else is cosmetics. Just stick with AGD and AGD products. They won't steer you wrong. Other than that, cradles, barrels, hoses, grips, x chambers, they're all at PBgear.com GREAT STORE! Just stock check it. They're great!

After pbgear substituted all my ordered products with what they thought was acceptable alternatives (cuz they were obviously out of stock) I stopped orgering anything online.
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL PB SHOP!!!! It is the only way to truely get what you need. Keith at CCP in Illinois has the complete mag& mag parts hookup. They have x-valves, ule bodies and intelliframes all at competitive prices.
You local store can order what you need for AGD and usually get it at a cheaper price.

i used to belive that until i paid $90 for a 12v revvy and $12 for a thread protector. i see my local store when i need some work done that i cant do myself or lack the desire to do myself. i just cant bring myself to pay twice as much for something "just to support the store". if they want my business they can charge a fair price. the guys and gals that work there are friendly knowlageble people, but it just seems like the store is set up for mom or dad to drop the kids off with the amex and not really care what the cost is.
Yeah i concur with logamus id love to support my store but most of their prices are crazy. Not nearly as bad as logamus's prices but they are a good 10-20 bucks more than the internet, not including tax. But thanks for the help nonetheless...
