My big complaint is the fact the its enough trouble to get a 4500 psi fill at a park. Try getting a 5000!

gambit and gunga, what parks do you guys play at? my only draw back to getting a 4500psi tank is that i'm affraid i'll get no more use out of it than a 3000psi. do you know where they will fill your tank completely? or is it really only necesary in a tourny?"To serve to strive and not to yield"

I play at the Badlandz. Going there tomorrow actually. No problem getting a 4.5k fill.
If I did it over again, I'd get an 88ci 4.5k psi tank. I used a friend's a week ago when my nipple o-ring went bad. That thing lasts forever compared to my 68ci 4.5k psi tank.

Yes, that's right. 5000 PSI tanks can be filled with the rather large compressor-type fill stations that are starting to show up at tournaments these days. The cost of these compressors makes them too expensive for most fields, but they are gaining in popularity.
PMI is not trying to say that everyone needs to have a 5000 psi tank. But for a tourney player who wants every advantage he can get, it just might be worth the money.
It the same as people saying that no one really needs a gun that can shoot 26 bps....
