Well, if you value effency, feel, durability, comfort, and a reliable gun, get the IR3.

The matrix has terrible effency (even with bolt kit and LPR), it's big, it kills too many orings and is rather heavy.

From my experiances with the IR3, they are super dependable, accurate, fast (evo 2), and very very effcient and comfortable (space frames are THE best).

Angels have almost no kick and are very very well built and super quick. With COPS 2 you can keep up with anyone out there (if you know how to adjust your settings just one time), adn you can get mad rates of fire out of opta board.

All i can say is get the IR3, thier prices have dropped since the speed has been releashed, so pick one of those guns up, they flat out RIP, plus, WDP has awesome customer service and products that last.

i've shot both, and i'm getting a matrix

if your worried about efficiency, go to www.matrixowner.com they have a TON of efficiency mods that you can either do yourself or have done and they work great.

if your worried about efficiency dont be go to that link its about leethals bolt. as i said 9 pods and a hopper of a 68 3k. you may have to register but its worth it. Peeps just think trixes are absolute gass hogs because they got a bad wrap about it when they first came out.

i do agree the matrix is one nice shooting gun. the thing is i dont think its cool when u have to get all those damn mods just to make matrices work better and be more air efficient. i like the fact that angels come ready to rock, no upgrades needed. i do admit id take a super nice matrix over an ir3 only because the matrix is easier to shoot fast with and it shoots smoother. id take a speed over anything in the world though. speeds are just as easy to rip with if not faster than any matrix. i mean i couldnt get past 14 on my ir3 no matter how hard i tried and now im shooting 18bps on my speed like its nothing. that along with all the new features and sensi is just amazing. anyways puckmaster, if u dont like the speed then id get the matrix over an ir3. just be prepared to deal with some minor problems if u get the matrix. nothing big but those little leaks and problems do keep you from playing sometimes.

I'm ditching the e-mag to get a matrix or an angel. right now i'm leaning towards a matrix, but i dont know if i would really like them. The same thing is with the angel. I dont like the speeds LED screen at all. thats the only thing that i dont like about them.

Whats the best current bolt kit that is out?

Also, could i put a matrix LCD board in an led?

And Last, what the difference between a slideswitch and a pushbotton?

Slideswitch turns on with a slideswitch that was problematic and would break, and then you'd have to turn on and off your gun ghetto-ly. The push button goes on with a button on the back and people don't rag on em as much.

Get a speed man, the screen could tell me my momma's a ho and i smell funny, if it works that good for that good of a price (relatively), i'd take it.

Also if you get a speed now and you don't like it you could trade it for a super tight matrix afterwards.

Speed Speed Speed or matrix, just don't get an ir3 and for god's sake shoot at least an ir3 and a matrix before you buy.

I hear some of you saying that trixes chew up orings, well let me tell you that you are wrong. As long as you lube up the gun with matrix muck (sold by aardvark I think, a tube of it came with mine when I had it)it should be fine. As far as efficientcy goes, a bolt kit and a lpr should fix that. I'd recommend getting an LCD matrix because you get more bang for your buck, and it's still cheaper then an ir3, or if you have alot of cash, maybe a NYX matrix (dont' know if they are selling them to the masses yet?). All I can say is that I loved mine for the short time I had it. Also, mine was a bone stock LED pushbutton, so it wasn't efficient, and had the gun16 chip, but it still rocked. Do not get a slideswitch matrix, that is an older version and a pain in the *** to turn on and off.

stock matrix leds come with gun 12 chips. there was also alot of stuff about the stock centerflag regs being ****e. but its all wrong. there were only about 100 of the bad faulty clone regs put out and dave from toxic/gen e says theyve already replaced a bunch so you dont have to worry about them anymore cause they just get all the regs preassembled from centerflag.

Well, having been tagged by both, and in an unbiased (I own neither)opinion:

                    Angels:
Looks-- definately the sportscars of paintball!!! Reliable, comfort, easy to maintain, and they come ready to roll, and lay down some serious rain.

                    Matrix:
Let me tell you: the quiteness of the Matrix really makes it hard to find the guy who is slinging paint your way. And, their rate of fire is somewhere in the retarded region. I rarely shoot electros, and I could get that retarded ROF easily. But, I have to admit, when I asked the owner to strip it down for me, I was kind of intimidated by how complex it looked.

This debate, like all which marker is better debates can be setteled easily: Personal preference, and how well you can use your marker.

                      Matrix

With the freeflow mod you can get around 900-1000 shots off a 68ci 3000psi, they have hardly any kick at all (atleast I cant tell, there is only one moving part), are very accurate (because of the less kick), you can take the whole part of the gun that has problems (hardly does) in about a minute from the the knob at the back, it seems they are easier to shoot faster than an angel (at least when I shot someones I know). Also they can shoot very brittle paint and they basically have LX.

                      Angel

Too lazy right now to type anything about them, yes I did own an ir3.

Since that has nothing to do with if he should get a matrix or angel.
