My two cents.
I have a Halo B. I've used it for about two months with zero problems what so ever. I play almost every week. Along with the speed of the Halo, I like the spring tension they keep on the ball stack. It lets me shoot laying the gun on its side, which happens when im laying down shooting out the bottom of a bunker. I'd have to say I think it is pretty sturdy. I usually play front and the Halo has held up to numerous superman dives into snakes. My shell can attest to that from all the scratches on it. Yes the Halo is obviously heavier, but in all honesty I haven't noticed the weight diff while playing. The only time I feel it is towards the end of the day when I'm walking back to the staging area from the fields. I'm very content with the Halo B. I also prefer the lid of the Halo to that of the Eggo, but I think that is just purely because I'm used to that type of lid. When I borrowed my friends eggo, it just felt ackward to me. My buddies have Eggo 2's and they work great. Once in a while it skips a shot, but no biggie. They sit low and to the back of the gun. They like the weight distributed to that portion of the gun. Makes it easier for them to snap shoot. My friends have had problems with frying Eggo boards and just recently they have been cracking. Not on the feed neck, but just wierd places throughout the shell. When the shell finally does go, they said they will be getting Halo B's as their replacements.
