    Slide Shorts...

Which pair of slide shorts would you guys recommend? (The Raven, Dye, or what) I'm mainly into a pair for the protection it would provide the twins since I've seen wayyyy too many people get shot in the genitalia at my local field. Hard cups are not an option for me.

    Thanks for your input

cups? where? No fun in that, never wore those damn things anyways during baseball season. I feel that it is really hard to get hit in the jewels so I don't bother with the uncomfertableness... Just buy a pair from a baseball supplier whos been making them for ever, not from a PB company.

          sliders...

I can't understand why anyone pays for the DYE or Raven shorts. A pair of Bike baseball sliders work excellent, are lighter/thinner/more breathable and have a cup pouch if you are into that. And they generally cost 1/3 the price...

I have been wearing my Bike's for 3 years, before the DYE sliders even came out. Work awesome.

And it is pretty hard to see that DYE logo through your pants...

Under Armour makes some really nice sliders. I have a pair that I started wearing about a month or two back. They are confortable and allow you to add what ever size cup or package protector you wish. They also have decient padding on the legs that will keep you from messing up your legs on slides as well as help with bounces.

            check out www.underarmour.com.

Don't bother with the Raven's. The material is flimsy, and they rip in 3 months. At least the Dye's are made of material that's built to take SOME abuse. Look at FOX Racing's skid shorts too. Nice stuff.
