Impulse upgrade thread

All I got was a Delrin bolt and I was happy.
I sure miss my Imp, I could rip on that faster then my E-mag but it just did not have the "feel" that I like with an AGD product.

Impulses are good looking? Boy, I have I been sleeping too much. They can rip, but just this say they have a real nice personality .

lol, looks better than a minimag/automag body, plus it has all of the upgrade options that i want, i will not mention them, so dont ask, you will see then when i get one. i have one right now thats pre release for 250 shipped 3 more for $300 shipped. what does pre release mean????

it means that it was a prototype impulse. a test impy. they built that one and figured out what was wrong with it and then changed all those problems for the release version. pre-release imps have different threads than impies do now(not sure what they are though) and there are a few other changes.

WAS is comming out with an Equilzer board for Imps. WAS boards are a MUST! Check it out at their site.

WAS boards are good

WAS boards were illegal in NPPL for about 3 weeks, they were concered about their sensativity leading to triger bounce issues. They are now universally accepted and a very good reccomendation for an upgrade for an impulse.

hmm didn't nkow about that but i know they are NPPL/PSP legal because Jim Drew (owner of WAS) was invited to the NPPL/PSP trigger bounce issue meet, and it says on the site that they are fully legal.

barrels might be hard to come across, contact smart parts about that. i dont know about other upgrades

i just talked to the guy, and he said virtually all normal upgrades will work with it, theres just some small differences, and it takes shocker barrels. so does this mean that i have a unique marker? or did they make many of these preleases of hte same model as mine

he now has one of the original 10 strange visions that was owned by Rob Peterson.


Ask smart Parts for the history of your impy, give them the serial number.

Ghost, your little turtle looks like he has a black to blue fade Impy there....... I though you didnt like them...
