And so are a lot of the people that surround him. There is a lot of kindness of heart in the AO community and some of that is generated from the examples of the leadership.

true true....there was no intention to diss on Tom there, just emphasizing (sp) that Tom/AGD need to make money back off of a team if they decide to sponsor them.

In the FAQ on Airgun.com Tom basicaly says they have as many teams that they are willing to sponsor right now so don't ask me to sponsor you. They are a small company so they can't realy afford to sponsor alot of teams like some other companyies do. I think alot of the kid's who ask to be sponsored are coming from the skateboarding world. It is alot easyer to get a skate company to send you some free product if you are good. It's still hard but alot easeyer than getting AGD to sponsor you. They have huge teams too. Paintball stuff cost alot more and I don't think pb has the numbers skateboarding does.

I think AGD should put together a sponsorship package. A team sends in a picture of the team with AGD markers and AGD sends out a banner and get 10% off at the online store or something. I think just having a banner would be nice.

You want banners put in the work, win the tourns, and let them know. If you win shooting AGD sounds like you'll get your banner, unless I miss read what Tom was saying.
anyone who tells you there are no such things as stupid questions is lying to you so they can laugh at your questions.

I don't know about team sponsorships, but from what they have told me about event sponsorships you have to have a distributer account with them.

most companies that sponsor paintball teams (except big pro and am teams) require that the team go through a store or field that has an open wholesale account with the company. not sure if AGD works te same way...it seems like it
