How many pods do you carry

i carry 5 no matter what the format.
just do it for the practice of playing with a pack.

in rec i may shoot a hopper a game, in tourny i shoot a hopper + a pod. i may even dig into a second pod.

Then again im only playing 3man.

im rec i usually use just a hopper full, but i carry 2 pods anyway. In the 3 man tourneys, i carry 3, because that how big my harness is.

I play hopper ball at my local Rec, however if it looks like the newbs are loading up w/ 1/2 case then I grab 3 140 rnd fat boys.

It can be kinda tricky filling a rico w/ 140rnd tubes

i usually carry 3 pods and a full evo2 in rec play and end up using 2 pods and a hopper per game (usually more, i was dumping 2 and a hopper during rec 3man games with a stock framed mag!)

when i play 3man tourneys i usually carry 4-5 pods plus a hopper and use 3-4 per game, 5man i carry 7 and use 4-5 plus a hopper...i love having a job only for paintball

During rec games I'll use a hopper, if that. I carry 4 pods though...I'm lazy and every so often I'll need to lay down some serious paint.

For big games and tourney's I'll usually take 6...never used more than hopper+1 in a tourney though, my back players more than make up for that though. The big games I carry 6 just so I wont need to hike back to get more very often. 6 usually last me the whole day.

I carry 5-7 for recball(depending on what Dimension pack I bring to the field), Most I've dropped is a hopper and 6 pods in a rec game. I've never played in a tourney so I can't say.

I carry, at the most, 5 pods in rec. Havn't played a tourny yet, hoping to change that this summer though

I usually shoot a hopper and 2-3 pods a game....

rec ball indoor field = 1 hopper only
rec outdoor = take 5 use 2
3 man tourney = take 5 use 3

I only play rec and never use more than a hopper a game. Some of the numbers you guy's are giving are insane. The trend in tourneeys seems to be 1 pod per opponent plus a hopper which to me seems insane.

5 man = 4 possible 5 pods
7 man = 5 maybe 8 pods
10 man = 8 pods and a double pod grenade so 10 total

i usually just fil my redz dimension pack with 3, b/c its the 3.2 but i hate the little loops so i never use em and wouldn't, so i take 3 with me, sometimes i use them sometiems i don't.

Thats so true. At the last 7man we played we had front guys carrying 7+ pods for just that reason..

Usually 2/3, sometimes 5. Most of the time I just carry the 3 inner pods, and the middle one is empty.

3 100 round pods, I think 3 times EVER have I actually needed to use one

If you only play rec you will usualy never need pods, depending on how you play. Lots of guy's at my feild just use them to hold their paint because there are no lockers with locks at my feild and it cost alot less to buy a case than 200 at a time.
