The best fields would be:
a school,
parking lot,
on a beach with lots of dunes and plants growing on the top of them,
on a really flat field where ROF was the only concern

Almost everyday I see some place that would be perfect for a paintball game, and it is always some place that I would never be allowed to play. This really bothers me!

I was also thinking some sort of automated sup air type field where you have a bunch of different bunkers to choose from and they can be set up by a crane or something automatically- to change the field each game...

I went to a graveyard with my friend one night. He stepped all over the graves, and now theres all these shadows that move around in his house. I refuse to go over there now.

Well, to get back on topic, I would say my school. 2 stories, stairs everywhere, hella planters. Big azz courtyard. Upstairs there are drainage thingies in the side you could shoot out of. It would be crazy.

I would love to play in the mall of America. That would be so sweet. Even though I have never been there but i bet its tight.

A mall would be awesome to play in, all the stores and stuff. That be awesome.

Playing in an amusement park be cool too, like Disney World. That be sweet to get on a ride and crap and be able to play.

How about something to make the game interesting...

Rapid inflate/deflate bunkers. You get in one and all of a sudden, it deflates and you're out in the open. (And I mean RAPID, like 2 second deflate)

schools or malls would be amazing. So would a museaum. Like the smithsonians in washington. So big, and so many obstacles and floors and all that fun stuff. Or like colonial williamsburg. With huge teams. I would be an amazing senario game.

I love the idea of schools and malls, however, i may be able to top that. On the roof of my school, and many other large buildings, is a great place to play paintball. There are Air Conditioners and Vents, pipes, and seperate levels of the roof. In other words, it is an awesome "urban" feel to paintball. Plenty of places to hide and run to, I suggest checking it out sometime.

Everytime I drive home from a day of play I pass by this six story abandoned building. Fire escape ladders and landings on two sides, mostly squarish probably about 50'x50'. I'd love to be able to buy it up and surround the area in netting.

I don't know how many of you remember your history classes that well, but the town that I live in used to be a HUGE steel production town (Bethlehem, PA)...even though Bethlehem Steel has been closed for probably about five years now, the majority of their original buildings for steel production are still there because nobody has bought the land yet. There are probably at least 20+ large buildings (2, 3 stories high) with really odd designs and intricate pipes and whatnot. There are also towers that are about five or six stories high scattered about the facilities. Since most of the buildings are walled with sheet metal (most of it is rusted, too...gives it a great look), it would make a KILLER sound if it were getting pelted with paintballs.

Everytime I drive by there I can't help but gawk at it and think what a ridiculously cool rec game you could have there. I'd really like to go in there one time and see what it's like on the inside and see what kind of cover and whatnot are inside these buildings, but basically everybody who has ever tresspassed there has been caught and arrested. I've also heard some rumors about a person that went in there one night trying to get a few pictures and they were sent to jail for a few months. I would guess the penalty for a renegade paintball game in there would be pretty stiff. I can still dream though...

For all you guy's saying how fun it would be to play in a graveyard, I know there is at least one feild that has a graveyard feild. They differnt sized bunkers painted to look like tomb stones and the 50 is a big arch trype thing were the flag is hung that make it look mad cool. I know it wouldn't be as fun as a real one but it would still be cool. There are so many places I would love to play paintball but they are all to dangerous to the people suronding the place. I think any kind of urban area would be great because I feel most feilds don't give you much versitility and are confining. And a real setting would make you feel like you are actualy fighting someone but without the fear of dieing.

I still say playing a super huge game in the middle of a desert with huge dunes and stuff would be awesome.
