For everyone w/ FAST e-mag fingers...

I feel like Im beating a dead horse with this repeat poll. HOwever, this poll is tailored to finally give me an idea on what trigger setup will give the fastest ROF. In the other "How many magnets in your Emag trigger Return" I asked the entire E-mag population. This gave me too broad a statistic in ppl's preferences.

This one is for the fast rippers out there. If you shoot slowly (like under 10 bps), plz dont participate in the poll (sorry, dont wanna sound harsh, I just wanna keep the poll accurate).

My theory is that fast trigger return is a must when ripping the paint strings out. Thus more resistance is needed to pull back the trigger, hence more magnets. Without enough resistance, the trigger will not return rapidly enough, Im thinking it will sorta "float" and return sluggishly slowing down ROF.

If my theory is correct, a "crisp" solid trigger with more magnets will hold the majority vote, while light sluggish triggers will trail behind.

This wont be part of the poll, but just a side comment will be sufficient, what does everyone think of super short pulls? I dont see anything wrong with a super short trigger pull. But the question: is shorter better (and get your minds out of the gutter ) ?

Oh well, looks like Im gonna have to wait and see...

    3 Magnets

I use 3 Magnets with the TL-63 Trigger. Anything less feels way to light and I would have to agree that there wouldnt be enough return force to actually cycle the marker faster in E mode anyway.. Hybrid.. mmmm

I like a fast, crisp return. Then again, I fan. I wonder if there is a preference difference between fanners and walkers?

On a side note, I don't think fanning is an appropriate term for my trigger style. It's more like Street Fighter II button ripping. My hand just sort of vibrates.

I still have my stock trigger. I use 1 magnet in top with 1 o-ring. This gives me enoung return and resistance.

There is a difference if you use a TL63 trigger since it has no top magnet. You need to have 2 or more magnets in the gun to return the trigger. I use 1 and 1/2 o-rings in my X-mag with one magnet and 2 o-rings with one magnet in my E-mag.

4 magnets with a TL63. Can easily hit 16 with a HALO B riding on top.

I have 1 spacer and a magnet. I can walk up to a chrono and walk the trigger at 16 bps no problem. My teamates hate how fast I walk the trigger. "They are just jealous"

I only use 2. It lets me hit 14 bps. It took me a while to get the technique down, but when I did, it was pretty natural feeling.

Now draw a face on your hand and stick 2 fingers out.
Your hand will be called Mr. Winkle-head.

Pretend Mr. winkle-head is at school, but the cops come and he has to run away from the police station and hide in the movie store. the motion your fingers are doing is the same as walking the trigger.

Now flash back to yesterday. Mr. Winklehead is fooling around with fire, and he accidentally lights some dry leaves on fire. He is furiously stomping with 1 foot on the fire. Maybe 2, it doesn't really matter. That's fanning.

Raking is hard to explain with mr. winklehead.

Anyhow, i like the look of the blade but the feel of the groove, as has been said already.
