    Regulator advice...

Hey everyone, my junky 114/4500 has finaly crapped out on me. I am looking into getting a replacement reg for it and I have some prices from various cmpanies, I just wanted to know opinions. I have a Bulldog and find it works fine, but I figured maybe I would try somehitng different. Crossfire has a great deal on a screw in for $65. I send them my tank and $65 and they send it back to me with a crossfire reg on it. ACI will just sell me thier reg for $75, I will have to install it. I also called Centerflag and they will sell me thier adjustable 200 reg for $90. This tank is mainly a backup so I am not in a hurry, but the hydro is pretty new and I want to continue using it. Opinions, any other suggestions? Thanks.

if you get the centerflag reg, you'll want to get the 201...with the on off.

for the prices you mentioned, get the Centerflag

      Agreed

I agree, but they want $240 for the 201. A little steep for a backup tank. They want $90 for the adjstable 200 which is essentially the same thing at the 201 with no on/off. Wow, 150 for an on/off. They also sell the screw in reg for $85, the 200 seems like a better deal than that.

90 seems too low...considering its below Centerflags wholesale prices...if i bought FIFTY of them at the 50+ wholesale price i would pay more than $40 more per reg than $90

i kinda doubt thats an accurate price. MSRP is $225
