    Score!

I picked up a used Emag for $325 yesterday. It didn't come with the right video, or a manual, but thats okay. It is serial 00794, so it's a bit old.

She doesn't quite work though, it leaks. Should I send it to the factory to have them look at it (I have no experiance with the RT Valve) or just get a parts kit and start changing seals?

It leaks out the back, and maybe other places, I don't have any more air to check it with.

Yes, I did get a great deal. I had a hard time explainin' to my parents why I needed a new Mag.

send it to blackvcg he'll fix it, tune it, and it'll rip.

Start by pulling it apart and cleaning it. You can find blow up diagrams in the spare parts section on the AGD Online Store to help you get the valve back together if you don't have a lot of experience with mags. Next try a parts kits and swapping out the soft parts. When you clean it, you should get a good idea of what condition the o-rings and seals are in. Last resort, send it back to the homeland to get fixed!

              Wow, I wish I could've found a deal like that. Can't believe I spent $324 on a classic package...

                ya great deal man
there's a detailed explanation of how to tear down an rt valve somewhere on here that blackvcg did...
i think it's a sticky in the tech section
anyway it helped me a ton
it was so helpful that i printed it out

probably just a bad o-ring or possibly the reg piston?

you think yours is old? Mine is numer 1 hundered something or other. It still blows the other guns at my field away.

I would buy a new RT parts kit, and get a diagram and some oil, and start taking apart pieces and replacing new ones, if that doesnt work, send it to Black, or AGD.

Good Luck with it and have fun.

If you need any help, feel free to pm me.

Thanks for all the help guys. I know a lot about the Classic valve, since that's what's in my Minimag, but no RT experience. I'm gonna order a video and a bit of things for the safety(lost the spring and ball) and get an RT parts kit from CPX. But I'm afraid that it is the piston, and that'll need replacing.

Did you try turning down the velocity? I have never owned a classic so I don't know how they work but the retro will vent out the back if the velocity is cranked up. If I were you I would send it in and ask them to replace all of the seals and the spring pack. Then it will work like new.
