    12V revvy shells

ive heard so much about how weak the new revvy shells are. I assume that they do break easy, otherwise you wouldnt hear so much about it. Do all the colors break easily? Someone told me that the smoke shells are less brittle. Is that right? Thanks alot.

I have seen equal amounts of breakage in all the colors of the new revolution shells- - - including smoke. Almost every revy I've sold in the past 4 months has had the shells break on it. Currently, I'm not selling any more revolutions until this problem gets fixed.

from what i have heard, the problem with the shells is that a batch were made with an incorreetc amount of plasicizer (polymizer?)added to the mix. thats why they break. the problem was supposedly fixed sometime late last year.

we took several broken ones to the world cup and they were replaced for free. you all might want to try something like that.

not 100% sure of the plasticizer thing, only relating what i heard through some dealers.

That's the same story BE gave me and promised that the new revvie shell they were sending me wouldn't have this problem. Well the new shell broke on me the first day out. They know that they are weak and aren't doing anything to fix it, so all I have to say is SCREW BE! I have a HALO B and haven't had a problem.

It's cuz BE makes cheap quality stuff. Every company they buy goes down hill because they start makeing the stuff with lower quality materials and they break. BE is only in the industry for the profet, not for providing people with Hiquality gear.

I had a friend that worked in Plastics.

He told me plastic companies try to balance fillers in plastic production to cut cost and increase profitbility.

I said companies have to know, if they test a product that the fillers are in there and he said yes they do. Then he quit his job because it was a constant battle.

Theres alot of Chronism in American buisiness. it may or may not be Brass Eagles fault.

For example. Company A buys compound G for production of pellets to be manufactured for componant B. Platic Pellet producer C Buys filler F to extend the use of Compound G and than pockets the money.

Or it could be a case of Brass Eagle saying we want the shell to be more brittle, so the revys break and people have to buy new shells. In any case I am glad I read this cause now I know the $50 is a total waste.

What about Mache 404. Is it any good?

i dont think that the mach 404s feed very fast. It didnt seem to keep up too well on my friends stock cocker. I personally dont really trust the "vibration" thing either.

i know a guy that put a reloader kit in a viewloader shelland used it on an impulse. he was happy wit it and it seemed to feed well.
i just bought one so i'll see for myself soon enough.

As smokee said he will not sell revys anymore.. he works at my local shop and all they sell are Re:loaders, eggs, and Halos. I've never seen anything bad out of the reloaders, they feed just as fast as a x-board revy but the shells dont suck horribly. One of my friends has one on an Angel and it is just fine on it. The only bad thing about reloaders is you can not put them on a warp from what I understand it will not feed at all because of the lack of vibration/noise etc.

On to my second point.. if you want an old revy I have one for sale. It just needs a lid. If my friends predictions are right one off of a VL 200 (assuming they changed shell style on those also) should fit on it. Dont ask me to explain I dont feel like it. But anyway, I'll sell the hopper for like $20 shipped if you want it.
