    Secondary reg...

If a hpa tank is preset to 850 psi and the xvalve\retro wants an input of 650-750ish psi to work best...should you toss a reg in to drop the hpa tanks output?

Or will the xvalve handle this job on its own just fine?

the 600-750 is the minimum you'd want to run it on, 850 is fine, the valve can actually take up to 3000 psi.... i used to run mine on 800 and it was fine, the more input pressure the more reactive the trigger is....

850 is supposed to be good for X/retro's because the more air the more reactive it is. Mags don't like secondary regs because it would mean the air is reged 3 times wich slowes down the recharge.

Ah thanks for the replies. When I read the instructions for my valve I wasn't sure if it wanted a secondary reg. Now Im clear on it.
