AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Kev, very good job. You've changed the way i look at BE. I now will most likely get an Egg2 soon. thanks for showing the other side of the story.

My revy has never broken (post BE). My eggo looks to be good so far. All I was saying to Kev is that the stupid JT Excellerator had problems and it seemed like mine was not the only one.
I'm not a BE basher. I like the revy and the eggo (also like my Rico). Just had to counter his JT Excellerator comment, however, because it was blatantly false.

I'm sitting here looking at a broken X-B Rev and Rico. I bought a black Rev last summer, and had 2 crack at the neck from just putting them in an elbow. I exchanged it for a clear one, and a eventually it cracked near the battery door when it was out of warrentee.
I have had my Rico since they came out and I have cracked it at the neck once, and have broken the lid twice. Each time the company has replaced the parts for free.
Now I hear of Halos breaking too! What's a guy that needs a loader to do?
Originally posted by wyn1370 Actually I was talking about how they screwed JJ over. They had originally said that paint was going to be $60 a case. Well they had $60 paint, but it sucked and they sold out of it early. You ended up having to buy (if my memory serves me correctly) $80 and $100 cases.
Plus they stepped in after the deal was signed and would not allow any competitors into the trade show. Only reason AGD was allowed was that Tom was one of the generals.
Then there was the air situation (which may have just been CPX, not BE). The company they booked, was a no show, so they decided not to call another (even though one was about 30 minutes away) and had crap for fills all day.
End of the story, no one has any question as to why Shatner is not at CPX this year.
The original plan as I understand it from JJ, was to have other brands of paint available, and (I can't remember his name) a specialist from Memphis, I believe, in HPA bring his equipment to help provide the max fills (they were told not to come). These, along with other considerations had already been worked out with Forrest Brown of CPX. Then, who steps in and squashes the carefully laid plans? None other than the majority owners of CPX, Brass Eagle. We had to buy their paint, use the park's fill station (sad to say the least) AND for those NOT playing, you had to PAY to visit the vendors tent.
My guess is, you won't see near those kind of problems at ShatnerBall with EMR hosting the show.
