question about hoppers pertaining to ULE body

ive never owned a verticle feed gun.....how do hoppers work with them such as the ULE which i will be buying? does the hopper just fit in perfectly or do you have to hold it in somehow?

Most hoppers will fit, I think the only ones you have to do work on are the halos, possibly the evo 2. I dont know much about the ULE bodys vertical feed, but a 12v will fit just fine.

I tried to put an Evo II in my ULE and it seemed to need a little sanding done to it.

My Revy fits pefectly. It won't move.

I had to sand my HALO down a bit. Nothing major though.

Lucky Jonesie, my Halo was already sanded down to fit a Timmy, now I have to find a spacer for it. Anywho, I've used a Halo B and a 12v Revy on my ULE. Both worked perfectly. Had a few double feeds with the Halo but other than that everything was good.

Is there any negative things that can happen when you use a spacer? I have a vertical feed micromag2k and you all probably know it has quite a wide feedneck. My 12v rev is VERY loose (can spin it around) without my Dye spacer. Even with the dye spacer though, it isn't as tight as i would like it and it still moves quite a bit when you hit it on something (bunker, etc.) I was thinking of getting a new spacer that is thicker, perhaps CP. They seem to make a small, medium, and large spacer.

My question is can this have any negative feedback on feeding? Will it decrease feedrate, break balls, etc.?

Also how would I know what size the spacer is and how it would fit? I'm almost positive my local store won't have CP spacers =\

              Any ideas?

not the prettiest solution but it worked good for me...

My eggo2 feedkneck was WAY too small for my bushy's vert feed so I took plain old ordinary superglue and slowly added layer upon layer to the feedkneck (making careful not to glue the halfs together of course) let it dry and try the fit out... It ends up making the clear kneck look cloudy but otherwise is fine... On a 12v Rev... Im gonna assume its not clear so It probably wont be very visually appealing (then again its hidden away in the feedneck).

(sidenote superglue can also be used to fix an egg2 lid when it breaks ... and the glue seems to be stronger than the plastic its holding together )
