how do i get an avatar

i have an avatar i want to use, but when i go to try and put it on, it says the use of them has been disabled???

We dont use avatars here, we use sigs.

Its called a sig. You make one, then host it somewhere and when you have the URL to the pic, you put the url in your profile.

No, I never did. The little box with the red X in it was their because I had tried to but the IMG bracets with URL Here in it, it caused it to look like I was trying to get around the cuss filter.

just remember- use the signature only ONCE per thread. (there's a button to click in the reply screen to do that.) It's common courtesy for dial up users.

ok, now i have the desired pic, but if i use it posted at digitalpose.com it has a bunch of white added, and now i put it in my msn profile and used the img tags, but now it comes up with nothing! anyone know why or a good place to upload this pic so i can use it as my sig?
