I think Tom said he was working on something that would let you trade in your body(and rail, can't remember) for a new body/rail.

Nah, it was the RT body and RT valve for a discounted ULE and X-Valve. I considered doin this, but then I got a RTP. Only problem with the trade in is that you will be breaking apart a collectible.

ya but the deal makes you trade in your valve for an x. i want to keep my rt because i heard the reactivness of the xvalve isnt as strong. the rt trigger is perfect right now, i perfer it to any electro ive shot.

You heard wrong. The Xvalve and RT valve are functionally and performance wise the same with the exception that the Xvalve has the LX mod and the RT may or may not. See?

Well, I can tell you that your Classic RT Mag's RT valve will NOT fit in a ULE body, or any other mag body for that matter. It has a smaller diameter. And if I could get some freakin HPA then I could tell you if I noticed any difference between the Classic RT and the RTP with XValve.

the classic rt is way more reactive than any other retro or x valve i have ever shot, I'm not sure exactly why, but it definitely is. Maybe it's the special sear, don't they have a ball bearing sear or something...I own a classic RT myself but I'm not sure what the exact difference is.

having both a classic RT and x-valved mini-mag the Classic is far more reactive for me.

yes i have to say the retro has a stronger kick then the classic rt. Although, the rts feal is alot smoother.

and yes i know the only diffrence is the pin and sear but i was just making a point.

I agree a classic RT is more reactive. Anyone know why?

Teh classic RT has a ball berring on the sear pivot. That reduces drag on the sear pin. That could well explain it.
