My gripe against PMI continues ...

Well as you know from my previous post ... PMI Issues ... I have an issue with PMI charging me for repairs that I had not authorized ...

Well it was decided on 5-9-03 that they would refund me have the cost, $25.00, and have the money to me with in ten days. Here is a copy of the email from Brian Kolasa at PMI saying how we resolved it ... header included to show its legit

Sorry for the charge of 50 dollars Aaron. The charge was droped down to
25 dollars for a new regulator and pmi will send you a $25 dollar check

So now its almost a month later and no check. I have called Brian and left messages, and emails several times. Not once has he returned my call or replied to an email. I find this to be quite unprofessional and this will make certain that I do not support this company in the future and will make sure to let people know my opinion of them if I am ever asked about their products.

Anyone else have bad experience with PMI before?

    Thanks,

More than likely the check is sitting on some ones desk waiting to be proccessed and the guy you talked to has zero clue why its not in your hands yet.

The shop I work for has had an Evil Pipe on order for more than 2 months now and they haven't sent it in (it's already been payed for), called, or try to contact us by any means. Pretty gay.

My advise is to keep calling them and make a big deal about it. "Threaten" with the BBB if nothing has happened. That's what I did when Dell took their sweet arse time with my rebate. Their rebate center happened to loose mines and a few hundred others. After a few calls, I recieved my rebate in March. The rebate itself was sent in in September and I called in December to ask what the deal was.

PMI does not own Evil, they were just the backers. The money men.

I second that Paul, Evil has yet to get my damn barrel to me, its really starting to piss me off. But PMI does own part of Evil, because you can call PMI to complain about Evil stuff, like my barrel. But yes, I have had problems with them.

I didn't say they own Evil, but they do distribute it, and therefore should take on all responsibilities of doing so, including keeping shop owners up to date on problems.

Call, call, call, and call some more. Get ahold of them anyway you can and make them pay you the whole $50. That's what I'd try.
